Best Time To Shop For Wedding Dresses
I know that Big Ben has only just chimed to bring in the New Year but it is never too early to start shopping for wedding guest outfits. If you’re like me you’ve probably got a lot of weddings lined up for the summer. All my friends seem to be tying the knot and I’m so excited about celebrating with them. The only thing that fills me with a bit of dread is what outfit I am going to wear for each of the weddings I ‘ve got coming up.
So, I bet you’re wondering what I am going to suggest. Don’t get too worried. There’s nothing too groundbreaking. Florals are the obvious go to print. You can go as vibrant or stripped back as you like. This probably depends on your personality. Pastel shades are still huge so some light blues, blush pinks and lemon colours would look fantastic at any wedding. If florals aren’t your thing then maybe try out a trusty stripe print. Stripes are classic and wouldn’t look out place.
If you wondering what shape dress to wear then the world is your oyster. I tend to just try and keep the dress to knee length or below. This is to keep is classy. We don’t want to be showing our bottoms after a fair few glasses of champagne. I would go for a floaty dress in a lightweight fabric. This will keep you cool and comfortable if you;re going to the wedding all day. If you want to try a different approach the why not go for a trouser suit? If you look to any big designers collection for the Spring/Summer you will see that trouser suits are featured very heavily. The colours on show were brighter than you would think and this makes it the perfect outfit for a Summer wedding. Go for a pastel shade such as lilac or if you’re feeling brave, go for a bright primary colour such as siren red or cobalt blue.
